Brilliant journalist who packs a serious punch – no holds barred as she takes a swipe at the society that has evolved around us.

I read “No Logo” many years ago – and as a guy who works in advertising/marketing it was eye opening and insightful and fascinating – I’d recommend that everyone reads it.

But her latest book – “The Shock Doctrine” – is literally a must read for every single person on the planet – an incredible and startling analysis of how the globalized economy has evolved – how Friedman’s ‘pure’ laissez-faire ideology has spread across the globe, and how crises have been manipulated to impose political will – often against the wishes of the people.

I simply can’t do it justice with a short precis – brilliantly researched, wonderfully written and incredibly powerful – a journey through modern history and a damning indictment of the recently defunct Bush administration.
